- Configured and set up Kubernetes, AWS resources (e.g. EC2, EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambdas, ECR, etc.) to build a data science platform leveraging Jupyter Notebooks and JupyterHub- Automated onboarding process for new users to platform which previously relied on manually creating boilerplate yaml configuration files to creating Kubernetes resources to using Kubernetes API- Integrated internal authentication/authorization system with Jupyter data platform- Designed new database schemas in PostgreSQL track user login and logout activity- Created various AWS lambdas leveraging serverless framework such as gathering user activity data from AWS CloudWatch in real-time to store in databases or using FastAPI to create an service to proxy and authorize API calls to other internal APIs- Developed API endpoints for internal Python framework used by quantitative analysts to easily deploy and execute model code without worrying about infrastructure details (such as spinning up a machine) in addition to setting up monitoring using NewRelic API and helping debug issues while on support rotation- Allocated and configured AWS resources using Terraform- Built Python library to allow users to easily query AWS Glue using Athena via the boto3 API- Set up Jenkins and CloudBees pipelines to improve deployment processes

- Wrote new reliable code to existing services in Java to transfer data objects from the back-end or to relay data queried from the database to the front-end services to meet product specifications- Developed user-facing settings panels in Ruby on Rails, embedded Ruby, and JavaScript based on UX specifications independently to alleviate internal support work and support self-serve model- Debugged technical and software engineering issues by using Intellij’s debugger, log4j logging in the Java applet, parsing log files in SumoLogic, performing SQL queries on the PostgreSQL database, making API calls in Postman with JSON, decreasing the support tickets open and resolving client problems- Implemented core SaaS web application for new clients by setting up Java applet on their server’s Apache Tomcat instance to integrate with clients’ database systems to ensure smooth on-boarding of clients- Deployed and helped configure and set-up software applications running on AWS EC2 instances- Maintained and debugged applications running in docker containers by fixing the Dockerfile and checking Grafana analytics dashboards with minimal supervision to ensure the stability of backend services- Engaged in agile workflow by planning out sprints and communicating with team members in daily stand-ups
