• Working on the Media Analytics Framework (MAF) team; developing a machine learning product, MAFaaS, to analyze file and streaming video data using 10+ detectors (models) and returning rich metadata that enables clients to increase customer engagement with their content.• Implemented three modes of priority processing of jobs within MAFaaS that enabled more intelligent queuing of jobs within a client namespace, between separate client namespaces, and with a reserved capacity allotted to each namespace.• Added multi-threaded batching to a results migrator that allowed it to more quickly transfer terabytes of MongoDB data to S3 buckets.• Created a lightweight documentation website that is hosted within all production K8s clusters.• Innovated a solution to embed Kibana (KQL) queries within Rison encoded URL parameters for an internal CLI tool to access log data of K8s jobs.

• Helped to develop a horizontally-scalable, multithreaded Go backend for the PointChat mobile application which allows users to connect with others in a double-blind fashion without needing to expose any personal info.• Collaborated to design and implement 25 separate API endpoints that enable users to establish connections, message and call contacts, update account info, block users, search for nearby users via geolocation, etc.• Configured EC2 servers hosted on AWS, load-balanced traffic to these servers, and allowed them to communicate with our containerized database using a publish/subscribe model.• Involved in the full software development life cycle; requirements gathering through system implementation.• Recommended and implemented suggestions for improving documentation and development standards.• Pipelined data queries for more efficient database interactions.
