As a Senior Technical writer at Vision Solutions, I was responsible for end-user product documentation for high availability and disaster recovery software products for the IBM i platform, including user, reference, installation and upgrade guides, release notes, and online help.I am able to take complex, technical information and translate it for consumers who have non-technical backgrounds. My responsibilities include drafting designs in AutoCAD, providing design assistance, and performing office management duties. My contributions have enabled us to more than double the business in three years. I convert hand-drawn landscape design sketches into detailed scale design renderings in AutoCAD. I use technology to automate manual and repetitive tasks, eliminate redundancy, and incorporate consistency. I assist in the design process with the principal designer by collaborating on plant selection and placement. I perform most of the non-design small business management duties, including developing, organizing and maintaining customer information files, invoicing, and setting appointments.I also have eight years experience as a Senior Marketing Consultant with Bill Good Marketing. I was responsible for training advisers in the Financial Services industry to implement a proprietary CRM for client marketing, prospecting, and office management.
