About Joe Elseroad
After 20 years of flying helicopters, building successful teams, transforming underachieving departments, and camping with my family all over America I have learned that good leaders are also good followers, often underperformers just need a mentor who will meet them where they are in order to unlock their full potential, and that there is no “one size fits all” solution to problems. I also learned never forget to pack your folding chairs for a camping trip! After my son wrote me a Father’s Day card that said, “Dear Dad, Happy Father’s Day, we wish we saw you more,” I realized that a full life is one where the intersection of work and family is beneficial for both. I take pride in focusing a team towards achieving a common goal, mitigating risk, balancing competing priorities, and unlocking hidden potential.
