We help make what they do more meaningful to more people.My role is to connect ideas, connect people and sometimes to connect people with ideas. I talk to people in industries with difficult messages, or messages that people struggle to engage with - like pensions, investment and insurance. I find out what the issues are in the industry and look into what might be on the horizon. Then I try to come up with ideas and strategies for solving communication problems.I speak at conferences about how to write and how to communicate complicated messages.I still write novels - mainly children's books - which means a lot of speaking about writing and running workshops at festivals and schools around the world.
