EXELIS (Formerly ITT) Clifton, NJ1988 - Present4/09 – Present: Senior Buyer/Supply Chain Manager I (Geospatial Division)In 2011, ITT split up into three separate publicly traded companies. ITT Exelis, ITT Xylem, and ITT Corp. Due to the split up and a total re-organization, the job titles changed and responsibilities changed. My new responsibilities were delegated to a Senior Buyer role. The new requirements to continue as a Subcontract Administrator required a person with an engineering background which I do not have. Procured Critical High dollar parts in support of the GPS III and the OCX Programs (FFP).  Assured that my suppliers met our Program needs.  On-Site Compliance Lead in Support of the continued CPSR requirements.  Material Program Manager (MPM) for the GPS III Program.  Supply Chain lead for the 3A-T Program, responsible for all material, attended daily status meetings.  Started my certification for Value Based Six Sigma (VBSS) Green Belt. Completed the training portion, but due to travel requirements and the loss of company funding was unable to complete my Greenbelt. Also was an active participant in several Kaizen events.
