  I have been employed by Norman Co. for 26+ years. I have held a number of different positions in the company. My current position since 2007 has been lead filter element technician. In 2007 I was asked if I would like to help build and run a filter element department for the company, specializing in 316 S.S. tig welded filters. We had previously purchased all filter elements from outside venders to sell along side our filter housings which we have been manufacturing in house for some time prior to 2007. I agreed and have been working in the filter element department since. I have worked on a number important aerospace jobs. I often carry out first time builds and am capable of manufacturing a wide array of filter elements, from standard s.s. filter elements to specialty metal filters i.e. nickel 200, monel, inconel, ect. I am currently in charge of manufacturing all cone (witches hat) filters and often have to manufacture tooling using manual lathes to help our welders. I also manufacture coalescing filters for the company. My knowledge of filter element manufacturing has grown tremendously since 2007 and I am proud of all the work I have done for the company. At the end of the day I have the confidence to create anything within the laws of physics.
