I have worked 28 years in the construction industry. I like working with people to bring what they want built to reality. It is fun getting to know the owners, tenants, architects, sub-contractors and superintendents in this short time small family for each project. Then getting to work with the same folks on another project over the years. A successful project is when the owner is happy, the company and subs make money and the overall project went well. Not to say there weren't hick-ups along the way but that is the challenge and why we do what we do. I have built ground up and tenant finishes over the years. I have been doing this long enough I know of at least one of my projects has been torn down to make way for another. Some of the folks I have worked with have a good grasp of what I am building for them and others this is there first construction project and a big commitment for them. I enjoy helping them understand what is coming up in the construction process and that what they may consider big issues are actually normal in the process, bringing reassurance to their concerns.
