Management of global IT operations with primary focus on US, which included 3 facilities (Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio). Managed the infrastructure team including Sysadmins, Network/NOC engineers and helpdesk. Create a stable robust environment that meets global SLA set by the Board of Directors. Multiple cost saving initiatives were executed and the overall maturity of the IT processes were increased substantially.Major Accomplishments:• Build out of Fort Worth hangar. GDC took possession of the former American Airlines maintenance hangar in May 2015. Managed the decommissioning of old network cabling and installed 70 miles of cat6, 20 miles of single mode fiber and over 50 cisco switches in 20 separate IDF’s. All in 7 months and $100K under budget.• Establish global data center in an Austin COLO. Installed and implemented DELL compellant storage, Multiple Vmware clusters and relocated the CATIA cad system and Oracle ERP from San Antonio increasing stability and meeting Corp SLA’s for uptime and recovery.• San Antonio Network remediation, replaced the San Antonio network with new cisco network which increased the stability and availability of the network by removing multiple spanning tree loops and incorporating a modern vlan architecture.• Replaced Checkpoint firewalls in US increasing performance and reducing cost by over $120k in the first year while maintaining or increasing the security capabilities.

Direct day to day operations in 24/7 OLTP Operations center with 3 management direct reports for network/system operations, database, service support and application support. Ensure that operation teams consistently provide stable environment meeting service levels. Perform incident management and problem resolution. Document the current environment and coordinate hosted solution support. Perform project management and capacity planning for corporate datacenter consisting of 3000 servers and 15,000 roadside vpn devices.Highlight of Projects:• Mature IT Service Support utilizing CMM maturity model and ITIL concepts to create Incident, Service Request and Problem management Policies.• Implement new service desk solution based on these new policies thereby increasing the operational effectiveness of the team by integrating policy and process.• Matured and improved Change Management utilizing Agiloft service management system• Analyze and resolve web performance issues for a major Midwest customer. Identifying several internal infrastructure issues and developed tools to specifically identify the source of the latency.• Stabilize Field service environment and successfully resolve all post implementation issue for Field service ticket system.• Coordinate hiring for multiple staffing positions in our unix and windows environment.• Project management for the migration from old solaris/samba cluster to Isilon data storage. 150 Terabytes in total were migrated.• Implement New Exadata Oracle appliance replacing old oracle RAC environment.• Project management for the redesign of Avaya PBX voice solution. Extensive design work with the IQ and QM recording and the IVR automated payment system.

Manage day to day IT operations on the West Coast. The region includes 5 offices, 2 R&D FABS and 2 data centers with over 600 employees.
