Multiple cost saving initiatives were executed and the overall maturity of the IT processes were increased substantially.Major Accomplishments:• Build out of Fort Worth hangar. GDC took possession of the former American Airlines maintenance hangar in May 2015. Managed the decommissioning of old network cabling and installed 70 miles of cat6, 20 miles of single mode fiber and over 50 cisco switches in 20 separate IDF’s. All in 7 months and $100K under budget.• Establish global data center in an Austin COLO. Installed and implemented DELL compellant storage, Multiple Vmware clusters and relocated the CATIA cad system and Oracle ERP from San Antonio increasing stability and meeting Corp SLA’s for uptime and recovery.• San Antonio Network remediation, replaced the San Antonio network with new cisco network which increased the stability and availability of the network by removing multiple spanning tree loops and incorporating a modern vlan architecture.• Replaced Checkpoint firewalls in US increasing performance and reducing cost by over $120k in the first year while maintaining or increasing the security capabilities.

Direct day to day operations in 24/7 OLTP Operations center with 3 management direct reports for network/system operations, database, service support and application support. Ensure that operation teams consistently provide stable environment meeting service levels. Perform incident management and problem resolution. Document the current environment and coordinate hosted solution support.
