During my doctoral training I gained extensive experience in molecular biology and microbiology with an emphasis on the structural and functional analysis of recombinant proteins. In addition, I have training in pharmaceutical chemistry from my post-doctoral fellowship at the Vaccine Analytics and Formulation Center (VAFC). Currently, I am the scientific assistant director of the VAFC where I work with industrial and academic clients and collaborators to elucidate the interrelated mechanisms between biological activity and physicochemical stability, and to develop formulations for biopharmaceuticals and vaccines.
