I am an ecologist with more than 30 years of experience in environmental consulting, ecological research, and teaching. My experience encompasses a wide range of ecosystems, landscapes, and technical issues, but primarily has been in northern California. I have managed, authored, reviewed, or contributed to resource inventories, management plans, conservation and restoration plans, impact analyses, and supporting studies, My experience also includes ecological research, teaching plant ecology and biostatistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and serving as editor-in-chief of Madroño, the peer-reviewed journal of the California Botanical Society. Currently, I serve on the board of directors of the California Botanical Society.
