As the 2-16 Infantry Battalion Intelligence Officer, I served as the chief intelligence advisor to the Battalion Commander providing him with the most accurate intelligence picture of upcoming operational environments. Additionally served as the key proponent for physical and personnel security within the unit.- Incorporated the Army’s newest analytical system into daily intelligence operations; increased intelligence production by 20% and enabled command team to make quicker, more effective decisions.- Led effort to identify and monitor an anti-Taliban movement in Afghanistan; briefed senior military leaders; efforts were instrumental in defining role and level of US involvement.

Assigned as the OIC of the targeting effort for my intelligence section at 4th Brigade, 1st Infantry Division. Held multiple positions as an Infantry Officer to include: Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, and Battalion Plans Officer at 1-12 CAB, and as an Assistant Operations Officer in 3/1 BSTB.- Led inventory efforts of $100,000 of unaccounted for equipment in Iraq; increased accountability to 100%.- Planned and directed logistics to transport 60 personnel and 22 pieces of heavy equipment from Iraq to Fort Hood, TX with no losses; enabled unit to utilize 100% of inventory.- Led platoon in 200+ combat missions in Iraq; identified, disrupted, and reduced enemy financial support by 30% in area of responsibility.- Partnered with Iraqi police for joint training and missions; increased security by 25% in one of most volatile areas of Northern Iraq.
