Associate at Gapingvoid Culture Design Group. Graduate of the University of Florida with dual degrees in Sociology and Microbiology and minors in Pathogenesis, Anthropology, and Health Disparities in American Society. At the University of Florida, my academic coursework focused on critical race & gender studies on the sociological front and epidemiology & human genetics on the side of microbiology. I situate myself at the intersection of the social and natural sciences and am interested in studying the complex interactions between biology and society. Outside of my main degrees, I've spent time studying at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as well as working at an active archaeological dig site in the Southern Nations of Ethiopia. I've been an undergraduate researcher for the UF department of sociology and have completed one internship as a strategist at a UF marketing studio and another that focused on health communications. I have a broad skillset cultivated from work in many different fields, and ultimately intend to pursue a PhD in Medical Sociology in order to become a university professor.
