As a Senior Economist with PBS I was involved with PBS implementation work, such as - client liaison, formal training of the client, change management, assessing client business needs and developing these into system functionality improvements, writing of technical manuals, working with the system developer to refine system functionality and new business initiation.

As an Economist with AFReC I was involved with consulting work, public sector management training and writing of training materials.

The Budget Project was a UCT research entity en-tasked with publishing research in the area of public finance. As Research Manager my role was to solicit, supervise, edit and publish research as either Working Papers or Research Monographs. I also wrote several papers in my own capacity while in this role.

During my employment as a Lecturer by the School of Economics, UCT, I taught various courses at first, second, third and postgraduate levels (PGDE). These courses included international trade theory (first and third year), econometrics (third year), research methods (postgraduate) and micro and macroeconomics (first and second year). I also supervised several master's theses.

Whilst employed as a Junior Lecturer at Rhodes University I taught micro and macroeconomics (first and second years), trade theory (first and third years), international finance (third year) and quantitative methods for economics (postgraduate level).
