I'm a recent SDSU college graduate with a degree in Business Administration - Information Systems. Following my degree, I began an apprenticeship program at Able-Disabled Advocacy to help jump start my IT Career. At the apprenticeship, they provided me with all the knowledge needed to help me obtain my CompTIA certifications in Network + and Security +. After attaining my certificates, I shortly began a contracted position providing IT support for the Navy through Apex Systems under Perspecta which shortly transitioned to being contracted by SAIC under Leidos. After developing a wide array of skills working for the Navy, I began my current position at UCSD Health where I work closely with project managers and technical leads/supervisors to discuss projects as well as relay information to other departments considering our project goals and provide IT support for hospitals in an attempt to mitigate cyber security threats.
