Since joining DWS my main focus has been providing consultancy for the product “iApply”. This is a proprietary product wholly owned and developed by DWS for online and offline data capture and processing using desktop and mobile devices. My main tasks have included: • Analysis of current data capture processes• Overseeing setup and rollout• Training users• Branding forms with CSS• Customisations using web services• Documentation• Assisting with product developmentI have become the iApply Subject Matter Expert and have provided training to users in organisations such as Cancer Council, Bendigo Bank, Diabetes WA, WaterCorp and SA Government agencies. I have also assisted with interstate clients particularly in Sydney and Brisbane. In addition to iApply consulting I have performed development work with C# and MVC. I originally started working for DWS in the Perth office until October 2015 when I was transferred to Adelaide.

In this role I have a wide exposure to the business managers and processes. My main achievements to date are: HBF Infolink – This allows the HBF customer service officers to quickly find information by searching a wide variety of databases simultaneously, bookmarking selected information sources and being automatically advised of important document updates.Market Intelligence – Marketing personnel can compare policy details with main competitors easily by selecting policy criteria from various funds, the relevant details are then retrieved and displayed in a presentable spreadsheet format.Generic Static Document Template – A fully generic template which can be applied across multiple static document repositories, this contains such features as single point of search, review date reminders, linked documents and other features to manage static information.
