My mission is to create a culture of growth, diversity, challenge, caring and fun for executives to realize the success they know is possible both inside and outside their office walls. With my experience as the president of a global advanced manufacturing company and business owner, I understand the challenges executives face in their everyday. As a Vistage member, my CEO peer advisory group was the place I turned for validation, solutions and fresh perspective on days when I doubted myself. I found the experience so transformational that I decided to become a Chair and form my own group so I could share it with others. It’s a privilege to facilitate monthly peer advisory groups and one-to-one coaching for talented Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky CEOs and business owners who, together, help each other succeed in ways they couldn’t predict and realize their full capabilities as leaders. My group is diverse in demographics, non-competing industries and stages of growth. That means we convene different points of view and networks that members aren’t seeing within their own companies. We’re building strong bi-lateral relationships to support each other in terms of strategic advice and knowledge, as well as emotional support so critical to success in life. I’m most excited to help members learn things that are difficult to access on their own either by drawing answers out of the group or bringing in guest speakers/facilitating workshops. With degrees in Mechanical Engineering, German Studies and an MBA from Kellogg – plus a General Certificate in Brewing and Packaging from UC Davis – my approach is to take deep learning from a variety of perspectives to help the group achieve the ideal result regardless of the situation. Becoming a Vistage Chair realigned and reinvigorated my passion and purpose for my career, in a way that hadn’t been true for years.
