I had an interest in Physics and thus pursued an education at Stony Brook University. However, my interested waned towards the end of the degree so I decided to volunteer at the local prep school I went to when I was younger. Following that, I tutored students for two years in mathematics. Feeling that I wasn't growing much personally and seeking to challenge myself more, I decided to go revisit coding, which I had an opportunity to learn in high school but did not pursue at the time. I had interest in seeing where the field could go as well since as a child, I played a lot of Go and during that time, AI was still pretty bad at the game and it was still an unsolved challenge.
