After living and working in Asia for 6 years, I am back in the United States and working in urban and transportation planning, new mobility, spatial strategy, economic development, and infrastructure design. Based in Detroit, I have joined Ford Smart Mobility's City Solutions team, where I will be working as a Strategic Analyst.My previous consulting work focused on how new transportation technology will really serve the communities in which we live. And how considered design and planning can improve outcomes. These strategies form the core of Spatial Crossroads LLC. Internationally, I have worked a consultant for The World Bank, in their Transport & Digital Development Global Practice. Here, I focused on transit-oriented development and land value capture, and how rapidly developing cities can solve connected challenges through careful land use planning that is coordinated with infrastructure development. By doing so, we improve quality of life and economic competitiveness in the cities in which we work. I began my urban planning career in Singapore at the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA), where long-term vision and consistent high standards have helped create the city-state's livability. At Yale University, where I received my Master of Environmental Management and a BA in Environmental & International Studies, I worked on and researched urban planning, ecology, development policy and foreign direct investment, and world politics and trade.
