I have a long standing interest in the natural environment-society nexus, and in finding solutions to promote and improve the integrity of both spheres, which ultimately rely and depend on the other. I am also interested in how human behavior affects the interaction with and use of the natural environment, and believe that a change in human behavior is urgently needed to halt the accelerating rate of environmental deterioration. I have built my academic and professional careers around this.
