Integrates security applications with network boundary security implementations. Determines enterprise information assurance and security standards. Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures. Develops comprehensive engineering implementation plans (EIP). Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for the organization. Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customer requirements. Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems. Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures. Manage and implement DOD information security, communications-computer systems security and industrial security policies and procedures. Supports customer at the highest levels in the development and implementation of doctrine and policies. Designs, develops, engineers, and implements solutions that meet security requirements such as Infoblox DNS DTC and F5 BIG-IP APM / ASM. Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Network devices, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, Intrusion Detection Systems, Virtual Private Networks, Operating System concepts, Processes and threads, File systems, DNS Whitelisting, reverse Web proxy.

Developed and maintains a Theater level filtering strategy in coordination with DISA, COCOM Service Components, and other government organizations. Responsible for Theater compliance with DoDI 8551.1 Ports, Protocols, and Services Management (PPSM). Managed network security devices, identified and remediated network security vulnerabilities. Provided security oversight, technical expertise, and security training to various theater sites. Practiced strong IT Governance to include configuration and change control. Configured and deployed VPN, SSL, other encryption methodology / technology.
