CurrentI work to enhance manufacturing quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the manufacturing process. To achieve these objectives, I collaborate closely with operators, leveraging their expertise to identify and isolate potential issues. This hands-on approach allows me to develop effective solutions independently or serve as a vital link between the manufacturing team and engineering. By facilitating seamless communication between these two groups, I ensure that crucial information is effectively relayed, fostering a collaborative environment for problem-solving and improvement. Together with the operators, I strive to optimize manufacturing operations, driving quality, efficiency, and safety to new heights.- Project Examples: Development of a Comprehensive Software Application: I coded a software application to seamlessly integrates databases from quality control, engineering, and manufacturing departments. Complex iterative calculations are performed to optimize tooling for EACH product moving through manufacturing. This has not only saved resources but has also streamlined the work process for operators, resulting in improved overall quality and operator morale. Retrofitting Older Equipment with Modern PLCs: I devised effective solutions to retrofit modern Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) into older manufacturing equipment. I handle, design, programming, wiring, and testing. This retrofitting process has proven instrumental in improving product quality, as well as capturing essential data throughout the manufacturing process by bridging the gap between the legacy equipment and modern manufacturing standards.
