In 2012 I joined atom42, what was then a small Performance Marketing Agency based in trendy/grubby Camden in London as a finance assistant, and was then promoted within a year to Finance Controller. During my time at atom, we grew from 20 employees to over 50, with profits growing from £400k in 2012 to £1.4m in 2019. In 2017 Iris Worldwide acquired atom42 and I played a key role in a complex due diligence process. Following completion of Iris' purchase of atom42, I continued to provide high level reporting and forecasting for both the atom42 and Iris London senior management and board. This became even more important when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and we had to adjust to rapidly changing and hugely challenging circumstances. During 2020 I was also given the opportunity to take on management of two of Iris' US offices, becoming their finance lead. Despite the time difference and other challenges 2020 threw our way, I built up a strong relationship with the team. so much so that they offered me the amazing opportunity to move across the pond to the fabulous city of San Francisco. Since moving my role developed and I took control of more of Iris ' offices across the US - Atlanta, Boston and New York. When the existing North America Finance Director left Iris, she recommended I take on her position. I've grabbed the opportunity with both hands and am now Finance Director of Iris North America.
