Mr. Talbot is the lead developer on federal department-wide record processing and management systems using ASP.Net solutions built on top of a SharePoint 2013 platform and currently leads an effort to modernize the application leveraging SharePoint 2016/Online, MVC5, Web APIs, Azure App Services, Scrum methodology and Agile software delivery. Part of his job is developing Visual Studio Sequential and State Machine workflows for managing the creation, approval, and storage of decision-making records; developing SharePoint Timer Service jobs for record management and archiving; and developing robust SharePoint Search solutions using the FAST query language; and finding novel ways to connect disparate .Net web applications and SharePoint solutions for data exchange; including across multiple security enclaves. He works directly with system engineers to apply server and application hardening, ensure DISA STIG compliance, and deploy high availability solutions through server clustering and application traffic management. He is also an adept web designer and develops responsive and user-friendly interfaces to work across multiple client operating systems, internet browsers, and devices.Mr.Talbot also mentors and advises the developers and engineers on .Net and SharePoint solutions and implementation; communicates directly with VIP stakeholders to understand their business needs, gather requirements, and develop SharePoint and .Net based solutions to streamline their business processes; plans and leads custom solution presentations and demonstrations for end-users; coordinates and provides end-user SharePoint training and provides help desk Tier 1 – 3 support for end-users on-site and on-call 24 hours a day.
