It is a live, remote 12-week bootcamp course that leads students through planning, conducting, and creating a user research case study applying 3 qualitative research methods.• I compiled and created content for the course, present lectures, plan & lead the interactive group workshops, meet 1:1 with students weekly, and give detailed feedback on weekly assignments.• As Head of User Research Bootcamps, I lead a team of 3 other course instructors.

• Collaborated on a "Rapid Iterative Testing & Evaluation" (RITE) process for a new product to be used by pharmacists and nurses. It tested very well and is being developed.• In an agile environment, I led design and prototyping for a complex new medical software product, involving dashboards and data visualization, to be used in hospitals.• Designed updates to an existing product that enables hospitals to perform internal investigations.• Created UX and Interaction design deliverables: design proposals; workflow diagrams and wireframes; final UI & detailed specs, and high-fidelity prototypes to be used in research and by Training and Sales teams.

Design Lead for 50+ print apps (e.g. Disney, Quick Forms, DreamWorks, Sesame Street, USA Today, etc.) Contributed to HP’s Live Photo iPhone app with interaction design and moderating two usability studies. I was Design Lead for HP Photosmart’s Touchsmart Web, the first web-connected printer, released Fall of 2009. Design lead for HP Photosmart Premium Fax multifunction flagship multifunction printer, to be released in Spring, 2009. Also, was user experience lead for the Copy, Scan, and Fax assets for the entire Photosmart portfolio. I envisioned, designed, and led several improvements to the out-of-box experience which have increased revenue and product usage across HP’s Photosmart and Officejet product portfolios. I have collaborated with ethnographers, researchers, envisioned and designed new product experiences and features, created usability test plans, moderated a few usability studies, observed 250+ usability tests, published research results to the R&D lab, led prototyping efforts of a team in India, and written detailed functional specs.Previousy, experience Design Lead for the Copy, Scan, and Fax assets of the HP Photosmart multifunction printers.
