CurrentScot Seats Group (Scot Seat Direct Ltd and Scot Seats kpm-marine) are a family owned and run business established in 2000, myself Jonathan Young Managing Director and my father Alex Young Chairman we have a workforce with skill sets in metal fabrication, joinery, upholstery, spray painting / coating and composite manufacture, keeping almost all manufacture processes in house allows us to be flexible and work with our customers in developing products to their specific requirements and being able to facilitate small or large orders easily. We started with production of seating for commercial vehicles, 4x4's, estate cars, taxis, buses and trains before moving onto seats for fire engines, military vehicles high speed boats and commercial vessels. Scot Seats KPM-Marine is a trading name of Scot Seat Direct ltd. Scot Seats KPM-Marine is the market leader in the design and manufacture of Shock Mitigation Seating for high speed boats and have also developed a new range of lightweight shock mitigation seats which are tested to HSC Annex 10 regulations for larger crew and windfarm type boats. Through parent company Scot Seats KPM-Marine also produce a range of light weight fixed passenger seating and accessories for marine seating with production capabilities in metalwork, joinery, composites and upholstery if Scot Seats KPM-Marine do not currently manufacture the seat for you they can work with you to design and manufacture exactly what you want.
