About Jon Weinstein

Jon Weinstein is a seasoned organizational and community leader. Throughout his career he has been known as a passionate and collaborative leader who excels at building partnerships to accomplish shared goals and is an effective communicator. He recently joined the amazing faculty at Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management as an Assistant Professor and will also serve as the Entrepreneur in Residence at the school's Simon Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship.In his dual roles at Loyola University he will engage undergrads to pursue their an entrepreneurial path to achieve positive change in the community. He will also work within Baltimore's entrepreneurial ecosystem through the Simon Center to nurture student innovators and make an impact in the Baltimore community through education, hands-on experiences, and creative experimentation.Jon is also an entrepreneur and seasoned management consultant and principal of Propositum. Previously he founded Line of Sight, LLC, a consulting firm providing management and organizational expertise to the private, public, and non-profit sectors. After nearly 13 years of success in business, Line of Sight was acquired. He is a respected community and business leader, with a reputation for working hard to solve complex problems and build consensus around shared solutions. Jon has unique leadership experience across public, private, and non-profit sectors, including building and maintaining strong relationships and networks across and among people and organizations. He is known for working hard to understand multiple facets of critical issues and focusing on doing what is right to find solutions!Jon has nearly 30 years of experience including executive management, organizational change, leadership mentoring and training, program and project management, strategic planning, and is an expert facilitator. He is a Project Management Professional certified from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and an accomplished author publishing two books, chapters, and articles on project management, leadership, and other topics. He has been selected to speak at conferences around the US, as well as in Europe and Africa. Many client executives and advancing managers sought out Jon as a coach and mentor. Jon served as a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserves.
