I am a dedicated engineering student devoted to learn and grow my skills in computer engineering.Driven by my passion for problem solving and propelling humanity into the future through technology, I seek to hone my skills as an engineer and as a leader so that one day I am able to stand at the forefront of engineering and lead humanity to places it has never even imaginedMy experience mostly revolves around embedded software engineering. Be it in-class, extracurricular activities, or my past experience as Northrop Grumman Computer Engineering Intern, I have honed my skills in embedded systems to leverage their potential and build real-world projects. I also have experience in digital design, backend development, data structures, among other technologies.During my time in Northrop Grumman, I had the incredible opportunity to develop both my technical and my leadership skills. I was tasked with developing a reconfigurable serial interface simulation software as part of a risk-reduction initiative. This ended up being very complex program to create but it was an extremely rewarding experience as I had the chance to design and implement the software from scratch. After I was done with this program, I transitioned into leading the Integration & Testing process within my intern development team. In this role, I was able to develop my leadership skills in an industry setting, making sure the team was making good progress and on rack to meet project deadlines. Aside from my technical experience, I currently serve as the Lead Technology Director for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) chapter at my university. In this role, I oversee various teams ranging from multidisciplinary design teams to workshop planning teams. Overall, I make sure the teams are making progress and their members have everything that they need to do so; additionally, I provide guidance regarding how to move forward and cultivate a healthy environment for cooperation.
