Artificial Intelligence Technical Committee (AITC) representing Singapore as a 'Participating' member in the ISO/IEC JTC1/SC 42 on AI.

With AI international standards being developed, there is a need to ensure that AI systems perform in an safe manner. Hence, as part of my research, I'm focusing on contributing to AI standards by evaluating the quality of AI models, with the intention of providing more robust and resilient AI systems.

With the foreseen Industry 4.0 and AI development, my work focused on:• Conducting research on AI adoption in a manufacturing setting• Evaluating the company's transition to Industry 4.0• Collection and manipulation of data• Using Computer Vision (CV) for quality control of chrome parts• Incorporation of new change management strategies

As part of the summer internship programme, contributing to the UK's leading digital care provider, everyLIFE Technologies, I was involved in the full scope of how a Software as a Service (SaaS) company works.My duties included:• Working alongside the Data and Product team to pitch and conceptualize a prototype for future development.• Analysis of external & internal data to provide measurable outcomes. Exposure to AWS Snowflake.• Involved in the creation of User Flows, 3-months Marketing Plan & Launch Strategies. • Conducted extensive market research to produce a feasible prototype, with PRD, that aligns with the business goals and values of the company.• Project management to ensure the successful completion of the task at hand, working with 6 high-performance graduates and MSc students.

As a Test Engineer, my role included but was not limited to supervise and run tests making sure standards comply with European Regulations. With a strong focus on emissions, a big part of my work strived to reduce pollutants. Manage and schedule test, perform manufacturers plans audits and attend to regulatory meetings worldwide.

Successfully completion of the 'Professional Mentoring Programme' organized by Brunel University in collaboration with GSK.Obtained valuable work experience on how a multinational pharmaceutical company such as GlaxoSmithKline plc, functions at all level. Insight on how automation & robotics are helping the pharmaceutical sector to mitigate risk and optimized the performance of manufacturing operations.
