We are building the Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for the Sailors by integrating the many Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education data sources across the Navy enterprise. - Leading an Agile Ops and Cyber team of 25+ to engineer and administer the Navy's AWS GovCloud IL4 system for ADE 2.0. - Working the DevOps model with our Development team to create and implement interfaces with other Navy and DoD systems, ETL processes, and the ADE Web Portal.- Expanding our current capabilities and building a separate Kubernetes-based DevSecOps environment to host other Navy projects and provide them with a CI/CD pipeline.- Maintaining a secure environment by designing and configuring the system in accordance with DISA STIGs and SRGs, and ensuring ongoing compliance with routine ACAS scans.- Reducing costs by frequently evaluating the designed system, testing new applications for best fit, monitoring expenditures, and optimizing AWS resources.- Driving automation to create repeatable processes and reduce risk.- Emphasizing documentation, collaboration, and cross-training to foster teamwork and ensure no one feels left out or left behind in the Ops team and that no team member is a single point of failure.
