As the Student Performance Sport Manager and @TASS delivery site lead at the University of East Anglia (UEA), I am dedicated to improving the experiences and performances of talented athletes. I have over 10 years of professional and educational experience in various aspects of sport, such as performance, talent development, coaching, coach assessing, officiating, lecturing, tutoring, personal and lifestyle development, wellbeing, and event management. I am also a qualified International Korfball Level 3 referee and Korfball level 3 coach, alongside holding coaching qualifications across a range of sports including football and cricket.In my current role, I manage the coordination of 190 athletes across UEA individual and team sport scholarship programmes and the TASS scheme. I am also responsible for the British Universities and Colleges Sport programme at UEA, consisting of over 50 teams. Moreover, I oversee the UEA club external coach programme, involving liaising and managing contracts with over 100 paid coaches from 56 sports. I also manage a multi-disciplinary team delivering athlete support services and the performance budget at UEA. Alongside my full-time work, I have recently gained a Postgraduate Certificate (PGC) in Higher Education (HE) Practice and have just gained a distinction in MSc in Clinical Research. My mission is to empower and support others to achieve their potential in sport and beyond.
