BME 1020: Introduction to Biomedical Engineering - Provide academic support to undergraduate students in an introductory biomedical engineering course as part of the instruction team.

- Manage routine tasks in order to sustain cleanliness and sterility standards throughout laboratory space.- Assist in conducting various experiments and protocols, producing data models and figures in order to evaluate data and information regarding heart health and diseases using rats as a model organism.

- Collaborated with lab technicians during review experiments annotating and analyzing 100+ optogenetic and fluorescent datasets tracking neural activity, specifically the neuron NSM activity, in response to food interaction in C. elegans. - Evaluated and investigated the role posture and positions played in behavior of C. elegans upon encounterments with food. - Measured and analyzed the role different macromolecule contents of E. coli played in the intensity of NSM activity within C. elegans, through fluorescent microscopy tracking images within different genomes. - Produced graphs and charts depicting data results of different animal and bacterial genomes for discussion in order to evaluate data and illustrate results to prepare future experiments.

- Collaborated with a single lab partner in order to identify and characterize an unknown strain of bacteria by developing and performing numerous laboratory protocols and assays, ultimately identifying a strain with DNA sequence ~96% identical to Bacillus subtilis. - Presented results and conclusions to MIT and HRIA faculty and community with lab partner as one of seven pairs to complete the program.
