Beginning in September 2017 I held the volunteer position of Election Commissioner. Under this role I worked with candidates and monitored the procedural aspects of elections in regards to rules and regulations. I also had the responsibility of determining if students violated these and how to proceed to ensure fair elections. In the Spring of 2018 I was elected by the undergraduate student body to serve as one year as an At-Large Representative. In this role I worked closely with the students, staff and administration of the university. I also assisted my fellow representatives in their projects such as a project around a publicity campaign to increase student awareness of resources for mental health and for survivors of sexual assault.In Spring 2019 I was elected to serve as the Senior Class Representative. In this position I not only work with students, staff and administration, but I also work with Alumni Engagement and the Commencement Committee. My focus being on the senior class allows me to create programming and events, as well as specifically represent the interests of the class of 2020. Additionally, I work with my fellow representatives and the University CFO to create more transparency in the University Budget. Aside other representatives I also promote a less Eurocentric education and am working to create a more efficient attendance policy.
