mPRm's comprehensive internship program exposed me to many different facets of the PR industry. I rotated through three divisions during my time at the company, including film, home theatre and technology. In film, I collected and put together press clips, assisted and attended movie screenings and press junkets and help coordinate efforts for film festivals and and award shows, including the Independent Spirit Awards and Sundance. In home theatre and technology I assisted in collecting press samples, building targeted lists for outreach, and reaching out to said list to get media coverage. This internship experience helped me learn to work in a group as well as independently, taught me important methods for cold calling and closing deals and helped me develop a professional personality that made client relationships effective and worthwhile.
