Profile bio

About Jeffrey Rask, Mba

I believe that experiences define who we are, but they also shape who we can be. I started my career as an engineer, because that's what I did in college. I enjoyed solving problems and making things work better, more efficiently. Over time I knew that a major part of what would allow me to remain fulfilled was the ability to continue to learn and develop. I gained experience in process improvement, yes - but then I added Innovation to the list. Product development, process innovation, product costing and finance, and people management followed. Along the way, I received my MBA from a good school. After a mid-career detour, I've found a new passion in my new role as a consultant.I have a passion for growing people, watching them succeed, and giving them the tools to do so. I subscribe strongly to the servant leader mentality. I want people to make mistakes, I want them to make a LOT of mistakes - but I don't want them to make the same mistake twice. I want to lead by example and help people reach their potential - wherever that may take them.As a strong extrovert, people give me energy. I work hard to balance the needs of the business with the needs of the individual. Data drives my decision-making process. As a dedicated father and husband, avid sports fan, weekend golfer, sci-fi enthusiast, sporadic homebrewer, and all-around power nerd, I have a healthy respect for work-life balance.📌 Professional Development📌 Product Development / Creation📌 Leadership📌 Cross-Functional Management📌 Innovation 📌 Mentorship📌 Project Management📌 Research and Development📌 Costing Strategy📌 Sustainability📌 Engineering📌 OperationsContact me:541.908.2502jdrask@gmail.com
