Jeff Scott is an explosive running back from Miami, FL with great vision and awareness. Known to clock in at 4.28 seconds in his 40-yard dash time, Jeff burns defenders on the gridiron. He attended Archbishop Carroll High School and was rated the No.53 RB in the nation by Scout.com. During his freshman year in 2010, Jeff played in 10 games for Ole Miss and started in 6. He is ranked three in the SEC and ranked twenty in the nation in kickoff returns in just four games. He finished ranked third on the team in all-purpose yards, 87 YPG, and third in rushing, 42.9 YPG. In 2011, he was named midseason All-SEC third team by Phil Steele. Jeff tied for tenth in the SEC with seven touchdowns, six rushing and one punt return, and finished eighth in the league at 101.4 All-Purpose YPG. Jeff also helped Ole Miss rank third nationally in punt return average, led Ole Miss with 529 rushing yards on 116 carries, had two 100-yard rushing games, and two 200 all-purpose yard games.During his junior year, Jeff led the team with 846 rushing yards on 197 attempts and rushed for 6 touchdowns. He also added 23 catches for 177 yards and a TD. He finished the season eleventh in the SEC with 70.5 Rushing YPG and ranked eleventh with 92.2 All-Purpose YPG. Jeff entered his senior season ranked ninth in school history with 1,804 rushing yards, ninth with 2,966 All-Purpose yards, and tied for tenth with 15 rushing touchdowns. Jeff was named to the 2013 preseason All-SEC Third Team by the league media, Lindy’s, and College Sports Madness. He was also Fourth Team by Phil Steele and Athlon, and Lindy's ranks him as the No. 25 RB in the nation. Only three games into the season, Jeff produced 330 yards on the ground, 89 yards in punt returns, and 36 yards through the air. He averaged 7.4 yards per carry and 6.7 yards receiving on the season, and did not go unnoticed by NFL teams. Jeff Scott now looks forward to his Pro Day to remind scouts how much of a valuable asset he would be to any NFL team.
