Manages engagement of outsourcing design work when needed and manages the outsource processes to ensure needs are met. Works closely with Furniture Sales Directors in their assigned regions on sales priorities, opportunities for improvement and collaboration on key sales opportunities. Meets with clients, prepares presentations on design capabilities and promotes the sale of design services on key sales opportunities. Manages Associates including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, training and development opportunities. Responsible for hiring, on-boarding, performance management and corrective action as needed. Participates in development of Regional Design Budget. Ensures that each design market has an efficient work environment including an up-to-date library and all necessary technical software and hardware for Design Associates to succeed.
