Starting off as an associate at Terra-Petra in 2004, working directly for the founder/owner on various high profile projects in Los Angeles, Justin Conaway was tasked with a variety of complicated assignments that allowed him to learn and grow very quickly. He soon became the resident in house expert on "code", and learned how to develop best fit solutions for our clients. This led to his promotion to Project Manager, giving him an opportunity to communicate directly with clients and to continue to develop his expertise within our field. Within this capacity, Justin took on the total responsibility for Project Management, managing the total cycle from cradle to grave. All planning, coordinating, scheduling and driving activities have always been under the direction of Justin and his team. As Terra-Petra continued to grow, the need for a higher level position was required. Justin clearly demonstrated that he had the right tools to step up to the newly created position of Vice President/General Manager. Justin was one of the first Deputy Methane Barrier Inspectors (DMBI) certified in the city of Los Angeles. Completed certification training with CETCO, Tremco Barrier Solutions, EproServices Inc., and Carlisle Coatings and Waterproofing. He completed Los Angeles Refinery Safety Overview Training and site specific training courses for Valero and Tesoro Refineries and received Certificate of Completion from Sierra Monitor Corporation for Gas Detection Training, and Certificates of Professional Development from CETCO for participating in Vapor Intrusion University and Remediation University. Additionally, Justin was trained in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZwoper).
