I like to solve problems.While that may sound cliche (in the context of the workplace), I like to think that solving problems in the workplace connects back to personal values. Values such as grit and resourcefulness, those things that give strength of character as a human being.I'm a big believer of work as something more than a place you go to earn enough money to pay the bills (though that's very important!). It should also develop you as a person via the problems that must be solved on a daily basis.Currently I help solve problems as a service manager at Wallace Perimeter Security.I help our customers through the process of solving problems with their automated vehicle gates and other perimeter security equipment. I also develop our service contracting business and streamline the processes involved. I try to learn something from everyone I engage with.As an extension of my work at Wallace Perimeter Security, I also do AppSheet development for small organizations looking to better optimize their business processes. I do this through my small side hustle, Service Desk Consulting.And, the reason I do all of this this? To contribute to my family (my wife and 2 kids) whom I like to go home and hang out with every night!
