Responsible for running the Leo gift shop, welcoming guests to museum and connecting with them on creative and positive level, helping to create a creative atmosphere to foster learning, exploration and discovery. Responsible for knowing information about exhibits, programs, workshops, and events occurring at the museum. Connect guests with appropriate person(s) to meet event scheduling needs and donation requests. Encourage guests to take advantage of membership and donation opportunities. Follow proper cashhandling policies and procedures, and conduct a successful cash audit upon the completion of each shift.

University Guest House And Conference Center

Front Desk Shift Leader. Working as a team with front desk co-workers to attend to arrivals and departures, answer calls and make over-the-phone reservations. Assist guests by checking them into the hotel, problem solving various cases, providing helpful recreational and logistical information about Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas, providing various medical center information as needed. Answering, researching and resolving any and all other questions, concerns and complaints. Act as switchboard for the entire Guest House and Conference Center by transferring calls, handling welcomes for appointments and group conferences, arranging shuttles, making sure all departments are running smoothly.

Duties included taking phone calls, making over-the-phone and e-mailreservations, checking guests in and out of the hotel, problem-solving for various situations, providing a welcoming environment by chatting with guests and answering questions, providing information about Cache Valley area and recommendations of things to do, places to eat, etc. Also responsible for running company shuttles – driving guests to and from various locations in the valley.

Duties included opening and closing the theater, selling tickets and concessions, handling cash during shift, counting and depositing money nightly, threading and operating projector, problem-solving for customers, problem-solving technical issues, being knowledgeable about upcoming indie flicks. Responsible for several employees.
