As a Presentation Designer at OHG, my primary duties involve collaborating with Business Development and external agencies to develop innovative and visually appealing presentation materials, posters, and marketing collateral. As a Marketing & Strategy Intern at TD Wealth Management in New York City, I had a diverse and impactful 13 weeks, from conducting market research to launching revenue-generating campaigns. A significant portion of my work involved conducting competitive research on products and marketing materials from various Financial Institutions, aimed at identifying strengths and weaknesses. This research informed our product development and the creation of targeted marketing campaigns. I also collaborated with various Business Leads across the Wealth Line of Business to develop and implement marketing materials directly benefiting Advisors and Clients. Notably, I spearheaded go-to-market strategy campaigns with a focus on collateral pieces and email marketing, resulting in generating potential revenue of $850k. My responsibilities extended to tracking and monitoring marketing campaign results using tools like Salesforce, Tableau, and NetxInvestor, with a keen focus on performance metrics such as CPA, ROI, impressions, clicks, and user journeys. Furthermore, I participated in 'Knowledge Hours,' an initiative that provided insights from 13 different TD departments, enhancing my understanding of the company's operations and my role's integration within the organization. My skill set expanded to include proficiency in Adobe InDesign, YEXT Hitchhiker, market research, campaign strategies, strategic partnerships, marketing strategy, email marketing, and more. This internship was a valuable learning experience, and I look forward to future opportunities in the field.

In my role as a server at Bistro 14 I developed my time management skills, as well as my ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy setting. I had the opportunity to work with the talented culinary team to learn more about the food preparation to better communicate and interact with guests and team members on a daily basis. I learned to be a proactive problem-solver and work as part of a team to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for our guests to provide a memorable dining experience.

My internship and Digital Diagnosis Marketing allowed me to grow and develop various marketing skills. I learned the ins and outs of Google Analytics to retrieve and evaluate web data. I analyzed click-through rates to communicate to a brand which ads are performing the best and which ones to improve or change. I developed cost-per-click ads by determining what words would most effectively convey the brand's image. I communicated and coordinated company-wide contests for team-building purposes which led to increased productivity. I created mockup ads using Adobe Photoshop for paid social and display ads. I used Loomly to coordinate social media posts to promote brand awareness for Digital Diagnosis and develop social and copywriting skills.

As a server at Kelly’s Old Barney Restaurant for over three years, I have had the opportunity to develop and hone a variety of skills that has been essential to my success in this role and others. Working in a fast-paced environment has helped me to develop my time management skills as well as my ability to multitask and prioritize tasks. In my role as a server, I developed strong communication skills which allowed for me to become the head dinner server, meaning others would follow my lead and I was the one to come to with any questions or concerns from staff or guests. My experience here has been extremely rewarding and I am confident the skills I have developed here will serve me well in any future endeavors.

This summer job provided experience that taught me the importance of paying attention to detail. I also developed interpersonal skills and a basic idea of sales and marketing. I learned to stay efficient and calm under pressure and address problems that need to be resolved.
