As an intern for Rep. Carbajal at the district office, I handled confidential casework to be put in a common drive and Fireside (DC) database. I also answered phone calls, emails, and mail, and logged messages from constituent. I assisted staff members with editing letters, designed certificates for events, and worked at events such as town halls to collect signatures and direct constituents.

As a Communications Field Staffer I wore many hats for the campaign team. I wrote Letters to the Editors and Op-Eds for the regional campaign, canvassed daily, and advised and created social media post. I also worked very closely with the regional director to help strategize and plan events, assist our candidate in interview preps and wrote interview scripts. I utilized Political Data, Inc. (PDI) software for canvassing and voter database needs.

As Music Director I had many daily task that required an array of skills as well as ongoing year-long projects. I had call hours in which PR people that represented multiple music labels called and checked in on the status of albums sent to the station. I also maintained constant communication over email with many labels and PR groups. Other task involved reviewing and labeling music that I deemed suitable for the station, holding a weekly committee to train volunteers and distribute task, and being a part of the station’s executive board for event planning and maintaining daily station operations.I also was a programmer for KCSB where I held a weekly radio show for two hours that pushed my creativity and also trained me in handling many different procedures, legal codes, and station equipment.

I first served as an unpaid intern for the museum in the summer of 2016 then was asked to come back the next summer for a paid position. As the History Curator Intern I spent much time researching and building exhibits as well as accessioning donated items. When I finished building the exhibits needed I reorganized the online accessioning database that included thousands of files from the last decade and rebuilt and logged all books in the museum library to make a uniform system. I also worked in the museum store as a cashier and sales associate.
