Global Director, Talent X Design
I partnered with our Head of Global Recruiting to lead, design, and implement hiring processes aligned with IDEO's transformational change. In this role, I had the opportunity to:- Teach and mentor a team of 5 Recruiters and 12 contractors to run a new hiring process that cut time to hire in half- Lead full-cycle technical searches for Data Science, Software, and UX/product, including building market strategy, attraction strategy, and DE&I strategies. - Co-design and facilitate all interview training sessions to mitigate unconscious bias in interviewing.- Design and manage tools that support our processes and strategy- JD's, interview kits, criteria, scorecards, and more.- Use data as a reflective (not predictive) tool to shift and strategically inform the evolution of running more equitable searches
Global Lead, Talent X Design
During this time, two amazing leaders (Megan Weibler and Susan O’Malley) launched the Talent Studio within IDEO. Our mission was to use human-centered design to help organizations identify, develop, and retain creative talent. We redesigned talent systems and hired key positions for several external clients.
