I am currently a Senior Analyst in Application Management at NISA Investment Advisors.Prior to NISA, I completed an apprenticeship as a software engineer at World Wide Technology where I contributed to developing a software application using C#, Entity Framework Core, SQL, React.js, as well as developing my own application using these libraries, frameworks, and languages. In my apprenticeship I received hands-on training in the Agile software development process, including story writing and refinement and pair programming.Prior to my apprenticeship at WWT, I completed the LC101 Professional Web Development coding boot camp and LiftOff professional development program run by LaunchCode. I am passionate about learning new skills and love a challenge.Before getting involved in coding, I worked as a people manager for Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack from 2015-2021. Before Nordstrom, I was a master automotive technician for Volkswagen from 2009-2015.From 2003-2007 I attended Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, where I earned two bachelor's degrees: one in English Literature and one in History.
