Fostering Hope's mission is to affirm and support foster parents in our community. We recognize that foster parents play a vital role in our community by selflessly taking on the challenge of nurturing, educating, disciplining and creating positive memories for kids who have been abused and/or neglected, often feeling that nobody cares about them. In my role I recruit and train volunteers to assist foster families, interact with church leaders to generate excitement and commitment to our vision (to include addressing their congregation to explain Fostering Hope) and manage and motivate 11 groups of volunteers (65 people) to meet the needs of 11 foster families. The types of practical support that volunteers offer as foster family include: transporting the foster children to some of their many appointments, providing childcare to give the foster parents a much needed break, helping school aged foster children with their homework, and providing meals on days that foster parents have a packed schedule. I thoroughly enjoy the challenges that come with this position, as well as the rewards of seeing lives changes!

I work with an amazing staff of very knowledgeable and experienced engineers who are accessible to discuss orders from customers anytime. I enjoy working with engineers and buyers from many domestic and international companies to provide the highest quality product in the shortest amount of time possible. And my coworkers are amzing, always filling-in when someone is gone to provide great attention to customer's needs.

I made 120 calls per day to new business owners who recently began accepting American Express as a form of payment ensuring they had all of the information they needed. I also successfully upsold the American Express Business Gold Reward card.

I received inbound calls to help Verizon wireless customers resolve any issues they were encountering. I also successfully upsold new mobile devices.

I provided individual, family, and group therapy, focused on finding solutions to client's needs. I was trained and certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and used this model successfully with children and adolescents who experienced trauma. I really enjoyed teaming with multiple community resources to find the least restrictive alternatives.

I enjoyed my time launching and selling Symbicort, as well as informing doctors about our Patient Assistance Program, which is one of the best in the industry. I found engaging in conversations and building relationships with allergists and pulmonologists very rewarding. I also sold Nexium and Pulmicort Respules.

I frequently collaborated with doctors and staff, educating them of our mutual patients' current psychological and social conditions. Thereby, allowing doctors to make the best decisions for our mutual patient's medical and psychological needs. I enjoyed being creative in blending professional skills and experience to tailor a method of service delivery for each patient that was most likely to efficiently and effectively resolve their concerns. I developed as a clinician as I teamed with colleagues to focus on improving the quality of care received from clinicians.

I supervised a staff of 10, providing them with the resources and training they needed to meet the needs of homeless youth looking for help. We provided the youth with shelter, food, schooling, and help looking for work and many other basic living needs.

I supervised 65 personnel as a Supply Officer at both Minot AFB and Fairchild AFB. I ensured they had the proper resources and training to successfully perform their duties. While at Fairchild AFB I played a critical role in our squadron being runner-up to receive best Supply Squadron in entire Air Force. I received an Honorable Discharge at the end of my service.
