1. Provides staff level guidance to subordinate units of the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) and to other staff sections on administrative aspects of the Command Logistics Management Program. Areas of responsibility include supply and maintenance, and/or transportation and services. Receives and reviews regulations, policy and procedure directives and other publications pertinent to areas of responsibility. Prepares interpretive and implementing guidance for subordinate undo to insure proper, timely and complete compliance. 2. Serves as principal contact for subordinate units for information as to practices, policies and procedures effecting administrative matters in the logistics area. Provides information and assistance accordingly. Reviews inspections and other evaluative reports by other offices, agencies or personnel for matters relating to area of responsibility. Identifies systemic and specific problem areas in logistics operations, determines and recommends appropriate corrective action and provides evaluation of progress and impact to the Commander and staff. 3. Assists in actual aspects of the Command Logistics Management Program by providing necessary feeder data and performing some of the less complex coordinating and executing logistical requirements. Applies specific knowledge and experience in logistics, supply, maintenance, transportation, services and logistics automation. Reviews requisitions against authorized allowances according to the appropriate authorization document. Reviews force modernization initiatives and actions and coordinates and implements appropriate actions to obtain material and equipment and update or change authorization documents. Recommends priority of request based on the requirements of the organization.Prepares necessary special and recurring reports and submissions pertinent to area of responsibility or as required.
