Feb 2003 – August 2006Shipping Consultant/AMS Team Leader – Technical Analyst and development/support Team Leader for US Customs and Border Protection legal requirements (Automated Manifest System). Most notably CMA-CGM and China Shipping Container Liners Co. Responsible for the creation and review of Technical and Functional Specifications, Test Cases and Test Scripts. Team Leading a software development staff of 12, both in the UK and the USA, responsible for all development and support issues within the AMS project.-Team Leader of China Shipping Container Liners Co AMS module from Gap Analysis to final 'go-live'.-Led the team that successfully certified FWL Technologies Ltd as an Automated Manifest System (AMS) service centre with US Customs and Border Protection.-Supervised the migration and testing of existing, client specific AMS functionality from Oracle Forms 6i with CAMIR output into a generic, core product running Oracle Forms 9i with an ANSI X12 output.-Created and reviewed Functional and Technical specifications, Test Plans and Scripts based on client requirements.-Prioritised, Assigned and tracked all development requirements.-Recorded, prioritised, assigned and tracked all incoming support issues.-Authorised all Database Change Requests relating to the AMS product.-Signed off on all development/support paper work prior to release to the test department.-Raised and authorised Change Requests. -Extraction and reporting of database information for statistical comparison. -Developed, supported and maintained various software modules using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports. -Extensive on-site time spent liaising directly with clients to discuss on going requirements, support issues and supervision of on-site development.

As the senior support analyst, I had responsibility for all technical support needs of the region. Liaising directly with the various S.E.A. I.T. Managers/Directors and FWL Logistics Ltd support staff both in Singapore and the UK. -Allocated support issues to the SEA (On-site) Support Team.-Tracked all open support logs.-Liaised between companies UK Support Manager and client's regional IT Managers to ensure efficient prioritisation and closure of all software support issues.-Investigated and analysed support and data issues and reported finding to relevant staff, both company and client, to ensure efficient data and software correction.-Created Functional and Technical Specifications for development by UK staff.-Developed and Tested software on-site when client requirements demanded fast as possible delivery.-Provided 24hr on call support for emergency issues.

FWL Technologies Ltd, Liverpool Sept 1997 – June 2001 Trainee Programmer/Analyst to Lead Programmer/AnalystThe first 4 years with FWL Technologies Ltd was spent learning and progressing through the Logistics department of the company with a brief period spent in the Shipping department.. My time was spent equally between software development and software analysis.
