Created and teach this 40-level course in theories and practices of various restorative approaches to intimate partner violence and interpersonal abuse. Topics are examined with a social justice lens and include: addressing the patterns, cultural relevance, risk factors, and impacts of intimate partner violence, barriers to reporting, current and historical criminal legal system responses, transformative justice and community accountability, and international and national restorative models for repair and transformation.

Guide and direct Vermont's only statewide anti-violence program dedicated to supporting people LGBTQ+ impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, bias, hate, harassment, discrimination, and other interpersonal and systemic harms.

Provide support, education, and advocacy for incarcerated survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault at Vermont's only women's correctional facility.

Provide legal advocacy services for victims/survivors of domestic violence, assist victims/survivors of domestic violence in accessing and navigating the criminal and civil justice systems.

Recruit, manage, coordinate, train, and support interns and volunteers in their involvement with agency programs and special events. Support staff in creating and refining training and professional development opportunities.

• Introduction to College Studies: Non-traditional, high school, and rising first-generation college students explore skills and expectations required for success at the college level.• Dimensions of Freedom: Students apply 21st-century skills necessary for lifelong learning and active participation in a diverse community, critically exploring literature, human rights, social justice, and systems of oppression.• Acting 1: Students of diverse ages, ethnicities, and socioeconomic backgrounds study improvisation techniques, physical and vocal awareness, scene study, character development, and relevant applications onstage and off.

• Concepts of the Self: Students build an interdisciplinary perspective on their own lives via visual art, literature, psychology, science, and different ways in which the self is understood, lived, and expressed.• Heroines and Heroes: Students explore heroines/heroes in literature, culture, and film and study how heroic stories communicate who individuals in a society are, have been, and aspire to be.• Fundamentals of Acting: Students study improvisation techniques, physical and vocal awareness, scene study, character development, and relevant applications onstage and off.• Public Speaking: Students prepare and deliver informative, emotive, and persuasive speeches while learning aspects of verbal and nonverbal communication.
