Built and managed the Network, Telecom, Project Management and Quality Assurance teams. Also negotiated new contracts in those areas that saved the department over $700,000 per year. •Developed the RFP to select a product for a company wide ERP implementation. This effort involved documenting the current business processes and working with the short list of vendors to identify which product best met the needs of the company. I then worked on the team to negotiate the contract, develop / test a proof of concept scenario and map the current / proposed system architecture. •Negotiated / implemented a new Corporate Long Distance / Data network that has significantly increased our capacity (4x) and added redundancy. This has conservatively saved the company approximately $70,000 / year. •Negotiated / implemented two new Corporate Cell Phone / Blackberry agreements that have saved the company an average of $14,000 / year. •Developed / implemented project management tools, processes and procedures including new time tracking and project tracking applications. Successfully implemented MS Project 2000 server and currently implementing an upgrade to MS Project 2003 server. •Negotiated / implemented a Corporate Video / Audio Conferencing networks that has saved the company thousands of dollars in travel expenses. •Managed the company wide Desktop Upgrade project that brought all the desktop equipment up to the latest equipment / software release. •Currently working on the RFP / implementation of a Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity plan for the company. •Managed the acquisition / integration of (3) real estate companies into the MDC infrastructure.

Led the effort to develop the project management group in the ITS area. This group managed projects that spanned the corporation and IT. Some of the major projects were: •Developed / implemented project management tools, processes and procedures including new time tracking and project tracking applications. Successfully implemented MS Project Central as a replacement for Primavera. •Managed the acquisition of two companies and the integration of those companies’s into our corporate structure. •Managed the IT side of a company wide ERP implementation. This included documenting the processes, the data conversion strategy and working with the selected vendor to customize the code to meet our company’s needs. Also worked with the IT department to create /refine the processes and templates that were used, hire the staff, manage the budgets and worked with the various corporate departments on the IT input for their business cases. Our group also worked closely with the New Products/Technology group in identifying IT impacts as they related to business case development for new technology areas the company wanted to pursue.

First five (5) years were spent in Network Operations. Involved in planning future network capacity, installation and repair of the network and resolving customer concerns with service and regulatory issues. Moved to Information Systems data center production support. In this capacity, was responsible for managing the computer attendants and trouble shooting issues that developed during the processing and updating of all applications.
