For my second summer as a Service Sales intern at Otis Elevator, I was able to successfully take on the role of an account representative for a designated territory. This included efficiently communicating with customers, visiting clients for meetings, selling open order, and extending client contracts. I was also able to efficiently manage the collections process for my territory, and significantly reduce outstanding account balances. During my first summer as an intern at Otis Elevator my main focus was to organize and maintain the elevator inspections process. Contacting customers and following up on outstanding inspections was an important aspect in keeping the inspections process running smoothly. I served as a medium between customers, inspectors, and fellow employees, making sure I was providing the best customer service possible. As well as focusing on the inspections process, I frequently shadowed account representatives on visits to current and potential customers. I was able to assist them with preparation for these meetings, as well as any follow-up work that needed to be done.

In my position as an Assistant Coordinator for Youth Programs at The Center for Leadership and Social Change at Florida State University, I serve as a liaison between Florida State and surrounding Leon County schools. I assist in facilitating the mentor program that Florida State has established for students to volunteer at local elementary, middle, and high schools in the area. During my time as an Assistant Coordinator I have planned and facilitated training programs for Florida State students becoming mentors, as well as special events that take place throughout the year on campus. I am in constant contact with Leon County schools through my daily visits with Florida State mentors.
